Introduction

We traveled with the Woodworking Show Circuit as professional demonstraters for 13 seasons. In that time I stood in front of over one million folks who enjoyed woodworking and woodturning. They came from all walks of life from Judges to school children. Amazingly, I almost always had an answer to their questions. I suppose it was due to my lifelong experience with woodworking, cabinet making, furniture building, and wood lathe work.

I began publishing a weekly newsletter in 2013 as a way to stay in touch with my customers, many of whom became friends as well. I was only able to see most of them once each year, the newsletter became our communication lifeline. In subsequent seasons it was not unusual to have between 30 and 50 customers each weekend tell us how much they enjoyed the newsletters. They never failed to add that they loved the scripture verses at the end of each article.

Our last show season was 2017 and we miss seeing our friends face to face, but still keep in touch with each weekly edition of the newsletter. I also utilize it to introduce new widgets I've designed mostly for the turning community. Once I began to add scripture verses to the end of each message, they became an integral part of each piece.

I hope that the wisdom contained in each newsletter will bless and guide all who enjoy the stories, parables and life lessons I have learned along the way. I write each column with the belief that the core message is timeless and that the truths will help generations to come.
