Easy Bowl Blank Circle Jig:

Do you struggle with bowl blanks that have an (1)uneven bottom due to less-than-perfect chainsaw cuts or other defects? Is your usual solution to mount the blank between centers while you get beaten to death while trying to get reasonably round?

Our new Easy Bowl Blank Circle Jig borrows from century-old technology, inspired by the 3-legged milking stool. Using three wood screws, a few shims, and (2)a high-strength disk, you can adjust the angle of the blank to align with whatever you need, regardless of the levelness of the bottom.

There is an easy method if (3)the bottom is relatively flat that uses a 3/8 hole for the pivot.

In addition to cutting perfect circles in bowl blanks, it can also be used for (4)boards and plywood, just like any other band saw circle jig. I'll even show you how to cut (5)circles without a pilot hole in the blank.

The standard-size jig will fit most home shop-sized band saws. If the distance between the tip of the blade and the front edge of the table (parallel to the miter slot) is 10.5" or less, the Standard size will work.
