When I first saw it I thought, “I don’t need this. I’ve been making bowls just fine”, but I wanted to see the video as I might learn something and the video wasn’t too long.

Then as I watched the video I thought how often I would be concerned and kind of sweat it out about the bottom bowl thickness (like almost every time!). Rarely I’ve had to modify my bowl shape as I went too deep into the tenon.

Then I thought how nice it would be not to stress about the bottom depth anymore!

Finally I thought, “Hey, it’s on sale today. Wouldn’t I be foolish to wait and then decide it would make my turning life more pleasant to have this and have to pay full price later?”

So I bought it!
